Cross examination of a witness is an art which one develops with practice but even otherwise as an advocate i can tell you its a art which is inherent in an individual . Practice makes you better no doubt but the flair in an advocate can be seen immediately as soon as he starts cross examination of a witness .Order VIII Rule 1-A of the CPC which deals with prior filing of documents does not apply to documents used to refresh a witness’s memory or cross-examine the witness

Recall of witness for cross examination

An application for Recall of witness under Order XVIII Rule 17 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908,  for cross-examination can be made before the court. If dismissed in any case you can file a Petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, 1950, assailing the order of the trial court passed by the learned Trial Court with case number
